Arabia Mountain is part of the same granite system as Stone Mountain, so the hike is very similar to the popular but crowded Stone Mountain trail. However, Arabia Mountain is not as large, and is much quieter, making for a more pristine and enjoyable hike. Arabia Mountain was once mined for its granite and it is neat to try and find old spikes still stuck in the rock (I have found 3 so far). For this beginner 3 mile hike, we'll be climbing to the summit of Arabia Mtn. At the top, we will stop for a break and snacks followed by a group yoga class on the stone summit. If you're feeling extra adventurous there's also another granite mountain top about a quarter mile further that we can hike to and head back from there. There is no parking fee, but parking is limited so carpooling is always encouraged for larger groups which we'll coordinate for the group after signup. Water and snacks are provided, but feel free to bring a day pack with a lunch or additional snacks/drinks.
